Welcome to SPOKE
A Lincolnshire-based networking and cycling club aiming to connect business people, improve their well-being and make a positive impact within our community.
Networking with a difference
Networking is an important way of connecting businesses, but instead of the traditional ‘stand up and deliver a 60-second pitch’ style of event, we’ve created a relaxed setting for local business people to connect. A place where every member has a shared interest from the get-go, away from business, to act as an ice-breaker.
If you’re looking to meet new businesses and enjoy getting out on your bike, SPOKE Business Cycling Club’s monthly rides will be perfect for you.
Our mission
We aim to provide unique, informal networking opportunities and support to local business people while also making a positive difference in our local community.
Network
SPOKE will provide a relaxed networking opportunity for Lincolnshire business people.
Support
As well as promoting a healthy lifestyle and mental well-being, SPOKE will be a support group where members can speak freely about issues inside and outside of the workplace.
Community
SPOKE will donate £2 from every riders entry fee to local mental health charity, Shine Lincolnshire and we will aim to make a positive impact within our community.
The rides
A chance to escape the desk, enjoy some fresh air, meet fellow cyclists and talk business.
1
Meet
Members will be invited to meet at one of our Lincolnshire-based clubhouses from 9am where they will have the opportunity to meet and speak to other SPOKE Business Cycling Club members.
2
Ride
We roll out at 9:30am on a set route, typically between 20-30 miles, led by a designated ride leader. Each ride will be ridden at a sociable pace, and no rider will be dropped.
3
Network
Following the ride, members have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed cafe stop where they can talk business, bikes or anything else that’s on their mind over a drink and a bite to eat.

The speed of the group can vary depending on the level of the riders on the day, weather conditions and the hills on the route. The pace will always be sociable to allow for conversations while riding though and nobody will be left behind. The typical pace of a ride would be between 14-17mph (22-27kph).
